What to Expect at EOS

Greeted by Attica, you'll receive a full body assessment, including biomechanical and neurological to understand how your body is functioning and identify issues and imbalances causing you pain.

Following this we will discuss your injury history, lifestyle, and current goals to create a personalised plan tailored to your needs, including exercises for you to take home.

As an ACC-accredited provider, we can create and submit an ACC claim for new injuries or treat you under an existing claim.

About EOS ALIGN

EOS is derived from the ancient Greek word for “dawn,” symbolising a new beginning. At EOS, our mission is to provide our patients with a fresh start. We approach treatment by treating every patient as an athlete—whether it’s achieving a new personal best in a marathon or simply rising from a chair without pain.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a manual therapy that specialises in diagnosing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions (see Home page for more details). Osteopaths use hands-on, evidence-based techniques such as joint manipulation, stretching, exercise prescription, and soft tissue work to relieve pain, improve mobility, and support the body’s natural healing processes.

This holistic method is effective for both treatment and rehabilitation, aiming to restore function, prevent future issues, and enhance overall health.

A Brief History

Osteopathy was founded by Andrew Taylor Still in 1874 in the United States. He believed in treating the body as a whole, emphasising the interrelationship between structure and function, and the body’s innate ability to heal itself when in proper alignment.

"The body is a unit. The person is a unit of body, mind, and spirit."
— A.T. Still
